About Mobiletech Auto Repair

In Sarasota, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Mobiletech Auto Repair at (941) 925-2446; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is mobiletechsrq.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 67 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Sarasota and suggests consistent service.

Sarasota is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Sarasota peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had a great experience with Frank. He diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed my car fast, and explained everything clearly and honestly. On top of that, his prices are very reasonable. I really appreciate his professionalism and integrity. I will definitely be coming back!

Gary and Frank are honest, reasonable and great mechanics. I've been going there for my cars for 2 years. They fixed my cars to perfection every time I had issues. I highly recommend Mobiletech.

I was recommended by another shop and a friend. Frank is extremely knowledgeable on all cars, but especially European cars. I bring my Mini Cooper to him and he gave me great service,an honest overall appraisal of my car and on time. I highly recommend Frank and Mobiletech Auto Repair.

I was referred to Lionel by my old mechanic (I won't mention any names here). I was told by my old mechanic shop that I had a problem with the transmission and they wouldn't be able to do that kind of work. Frank at Mobiletech took a look at my Mercedes and in less than a minute was able to properly diagnose the problem (not saying that every problem is this easy to diagnose, I was just lucky). It was the alternator. I dropped my car off on Monday and it was ready to be picked up by Tuesday. I will never go to another shop for as long as I'm able to go to Mobiletech.

My truck is not a popular vehicle with many of the shops or mechanics that I spoke with in the Sarasota area. Fortunately one of the last men referred me to Mobiletech Auto Repair and within the week I was able to pickup my old Land Rover Discovery and enjoy driving it with all cylinders firing for the 1st time since purchasing it in October of 2020.I won't ding the previous shops or mechanics but I will say that it was refreshing to be treated with courtesy and kept in the loop by Lionel the service manager and also given a service estimate before the work started that they honored when I picked up the truck. I noticed many different vehicles of many vintages in the lot which indicated that they have a well rounded level of experience working on many different brands and vintages of vehicles and they are very friendly people 😀. Maybe they will be a good fit for you as well. I will be taking my truck back in the future as it is like it's owner older with high mileage
